Obituary of Bryan Lee Emery, Sr.

CAMDEN, S.C.- Bryan Lee Emery, Sr., 78, formally of Allentown, PA, passed away on June 28, 2024. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Clifford Earl Emery and Bessie Hunsicker Emery. Mr. Emery was a member of St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church and the Local 19 Sheet Metal Workers Union. He enjoyed politics and especially spending time with his grandchildren.

     Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Darlene Louise Emery; children, Kerri Ann Cameron (Gene), Bryan Lee Emery, Jr. (Melissa), Deanna Marie Torres (Luis); grandchildren, Luis Torres III, Jasmine Emery Ramos, Jalisha Torres, Eryn Cameron, William Cameron, Hailey Emery, Ashlyn Emery; great-grandchildren, London Gooden, Blaire Thompson, Livia Sepulveda; and siblings, James Emery (Nancy), Barbara Gossman (Skip), and Pat Young (Greg). He was predeceased by siblings, Richard Emery, Robert Emery, Marion Schafer, Marjorie Hersh.

     A celebration of life service will be held Friday, July 5, 2024 at 10:00 am at St. Timothy Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church, 1301 Mill St. Camden, S.C. The family is in charge of the arrangements
