David “Joseph” Connolly, Jr., 30, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. Born in Columbia, SC, on August 16, 1993, he is the son of Sheryl Kirkland Connolly and David Joseph Connolly, Sr.

Joseph loved Jesus. He was known for his outgoing and social character and has never met a stranger. He enjoyed spiderman movies, shopping, and going out and about. He had a love for country music, specifically country music legends, George Straight and Alan Jackson. He would look forward every year to competing in the special Olympics and won many medals over the years for wheel chair races and various other events.

Left to cherish his memories is his mother, Sheryl Kirkland Connolly; father, David Joseph Connolly, Sr; and brother, Paul “Kirk” Kirkland Connolly.

A time of gathering to honor the life of Joseph will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at Powers Funeral Home in Lugoff from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm.
