Cynthia “Cindy” Johnson Obituary

Cynthia Ernest “Cindy” Johnson died Friday, July 19, 2024.  She is the daughter of Barbara Jeaneene Walker Ernest and the late Charles Hubert Ernest.  Cindy was a Corporate Purchaser with Shealy Truck Center for 39+ years.  She was a talented crafter, working with various art mediums. 

Cindy is survived by her mother, Barbara Ernest, of Luray, Virginia; daughter, Barbara Johnson, of Elgin; son, Gerry Price (Shannon), of Fort Worth, TX; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Joe Ernest (Colleen), Jim Ernest (Lisa), Larry Ernest (Ellen) and Donnie Ernest (Debra), all of Virginia.

Cindy was predeceased by her father, Charles Hubert Ernest, and her husband, Ronald Edward Johnson.

A memorial service at Fort Jackson National Cemetery will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be made to National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at www.missingkids.org.
