Obituary of Michael Wayne Reynolds

Elgin – Funeral Service for Michael Wayne Reynolds, 51, will be held on Monday, July 29, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Powers Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to SisterCare.

Mr. Reynolds passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024.  Born in Raleigh, N.C., he was the son of Janet Swearingen Reynolds and the late David Mitchell Reynolds.  He was a HVAC Service Technician with Carolina Condition.  He was a member of Masonic Lodge 411.  Mr. Reynolds enjoyed playing golf, traveling, and was a awesome host who loved spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving are his wife, Tanya Gail Lee Reynolds; mother, Janet Reynolds of Columbia; step-children, Taylor Russell of Elgin and Kristen Russell of Baytown, Texas; sister, April Reynolds Koonce (Christopher) of N. Augusta; sister-in-law, Laura Hewitt (Dale); nieces and nephews, Greer Worley, Piper Worley, Alexis Crooks, Joseph Hewitt, Savannah Hewitt, Candice Hewitt, and Caitie Hewitt; and great-nephew, Elijah Holland.  He was predeceased by a niece, Amber Crooks.
