Mr. and Mrs. William P. Summers, of Franklin, Tennessee, are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Chelsea, to Mr. Christopher P. Gibson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy K. Gibson, of Lugoff. The couple’s love story began when they met by chance as young teens while cruising on bicycles with childhood friends in Pawley’s Island during simultaneous family vacations. The wedding occurred on March 23, 2024, at TPC Sugarloaf Country Club in Duluth, Georgia. The weather cooperated for a beautiful outdoor ceremony witnessed by family and close friends followed by excellent eats, wonderful fellowship and some serious grooving on the dance floor (where the groom especially impressed all in attendance with his athleticism and creative choreography). Christopher is a 2017 graduate of The Citadel (Palmetto Battery). He graduated in 2013 from Lugoff-Elgin High School. Chelsea is a 2014 graduate of Ashley Ridge High School. Christopher is a Release Train Engineer with Booz Allen Hamilton (consulting). Chelsea is the Customer Success Manager for Eradani (software vendor). The newlyweds claim they reside on Cloud 9 but live in Franklin, Tennessee.
