Obituary of Merilee Gene Patterson

Merilee Gene Patterson, 82, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024. Born in Orange, CA, on April 23, 1942, to the late Joseph Albert and Mary Ann  Williams. Mrs. Patterson attended Christian International in Florida and received her bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies while there. She started and was a member of the Warriors of the Cross which was a ministry that ministered to incarcerated individuals in Washington State. She loved her ministry, her husband, her kids, grandkids, and great grandchildren. She thoroughly enjoyed life and was devoted to the service of others.

Left to cherish her memories is her husband of 55 years, Lester Harold Patterson; daughters, Jennifer Lynn Medina (Michael, Sr.) and GinaMaria Jensen (Mike, Sr.); grandchildren, Mycal Medina, Jr. (Nicole), Kayla Pendergrass, Miranda Pendergraass, Michael Jensen, Jr., Kia Alspach and Kristopher Medina (Sarah); great-grandchildren, Loralie Vaccaro, Mycal Medina III, Kora Hale, Levi Tedder, Ellie Polley-Perez and Ezio Jensen.

A graveside will be held Thursday, August 01, 2024, at 12:00 pm at Fort Jackson National Cemetery in Columbia, SC. Rev. Todd Horton will be officiating.
