Obituary of Denise Patricia Johnson Dubose

Camden – Denise Patricia Johnson-Dubose, 71, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at MUSC Health Downtown Columbia.  She was born on December 17, 1952 in Cassatt, S.C., to Katye Adamson Johnson and the late Early Johnson Jr.  She enjoyed crafting, cooking, decorating, and was the family historian and advisor.  Ms. Dubose was a loving mother that always took care of all of her family and friends.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Indya Elizabeth Burroughs of Camden; son, Robert Dubose Jr. of Camden; brothers, Cortez Johnson, Lathan Johnson and Everett Johnson; sisters, Yolanda Thomas, Hope Johnson Jones and Erica Collins; companion, Melvin Drakeford; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Services will be private.
