Obituary of John “L.J.” Sanford Henley

Camden – A service to celebrate the life of John “L.J.” Sanford Henley, 55, will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at 6:00 PM at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. 

L.J. passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024.  Born in Albany, GA, he was the son of the late John Henley.  L.J. enjoyed deer hunting and fishing, and he was a master welder. He was an avid GA Bulldog fan. Above all, he loved his family and spending time with them.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Carey Bodie Henley; his mother, Janice “Jenny” Oneil Henley; sons, Andrew Henley (Shannin), Chase Henley, Daniel Henley; stepson, Jordan Rabon; and sister, Jill Henley.
