A private memorial service for Barbara Goode, 87, will be held. The family will accept friends and visitors from 4:30-6:00 at the Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel. Barbara Neurohr Goode passed away on August 16, 2024.  She was born in Richmond, VA, the daughter of the late Charles Angus Neurohr and Grace Neurohr Leftwich.

Barbara is survived by son, Brian Christopher Goode (So Young), of Winchester MA; daughter, Ashley Goode Culp (Kevin), of Camden, SC; grandchildren, Hannah Grace Culp and Michael Gary Culp, III.

Other than her parents and husband, Donald Eugene Goode, Barbara was predeceased by her brother, Fred Neurohr.

Barbara was a loving daughter, sister, wife, and mother. She worked in reception work and was a homemaker. Barbara was a member of Grace Episcopal Church and Camden High Steppers.

The family would like to express sincere gratitude towards the administration and staff at Karesh Long Term Care and Karesh at Beechwood for excellent love and care, where she was a resident from 2018. The family would also like to thank Amedisys Hospice for taking care of her in her final days.
