Obituary of Charlene Lucas

Ridgeway – Funeral service for Irma Charlene Dove Lucas, 77, will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints – Ridgeway Ward with burial to follow in Centerville Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.

Mrs. Lucas passed away at home on Sunday, August 18, 2024.  Born in Winnsboro, she was the daughter of the late Charles J. and Lola Branham Dove.  She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  She enjoyed crafts, cross stitching, crocheting and word puzzles.

Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Robert L. Lucas Sr.; daughter, Joy Lucas Weisner (Greg) of Conway, S.C.; and grandchildren, William Christopher Weisner and Breanna Lynn Weisner.  She was predeceased by sons, Robert W. Lucas Jr. and Christopher Allen Lucas; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Legrand; and brother-in-law, Larry J. Lucas.
