Camden – A service to celebrate the life of Robert Frederick Aldrich, 87, will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Aldrich passed away at home on Saturday, August 24, 2024.  Born in Bethune, he was the son of the late Wesley and Lillie Mickle Aldrich.  He served in the United States Army and was a carpenter by trade.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching tv, and hanging out with his brother, John.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Sharon Yvette Aldrich (Issac), Michael Aldrich (Kathy), and Frederick “Fred” Aldrich; sister, Mable Grace Goodwin; brother, Reginald “Reggie” Outten (Wanda); 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Carlton “Gene” Anderson, Jr and Wallace Cook, Jr.; great-aunt, Mable Mickle; a host of nieces and nephews; and his fur-baby, Booga.  He was predeceased by his wife, Betty Aldrich; sons, Russell Aldrich and Darrell Aldrich; brothers, Albert Aldrich, Jon Aldrich, Melvin Aldrich; sister, Eleanor Anderson; and brother- in-law, Phillip Goodwin.
