MYRTLE BEACH – Terry Lowery had a rushing touchdown to help lead West Florence to a big win over Myrtle Beach in high school football action on Friday night.

Teammate Jayaun Perkins caught a touchdown pass.

The Knights improved to 1-1 and will host Marion at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Summerville 45 South Florence 20

SUMMERVILLE — South Florence’s Jayden Sellers caught two touchdowns passes.

The Bruins fell to 1-1 and will travel to Northwestern at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Hartsville 27 Carolina Forest 27

HARTSVILLE — Hartsville and Carolina Forest gamed ended in a due after it was called due to inclement weather in the are.

The Red Foxes are 0-0-1 and will host Camden at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Marion 8 Latta 7

MARIONMarion’s Kam’Mari Watson returned a punt for a touchdown and added the two-point conversion run for the win.

Latta’s Amir Rogers also rushed for a TD for the Vikings’ lone score.

The Swamp Foxes improved to 1-1 and will travel to West Florence at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

The Vikings fell to 1-1 and will host McBee at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Darlington 27 North Myrtle Beach 21

DARLINGTON – Darlington improved to 2-0 with the 27-21 win over North Myrtle Beach.

The Falcons will host Lugoff –Elgin at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Dillon 27 Socastee 7

SOCASTEE – Dillon’s Domanick Felton rushed for 137 yards and a touchdown.

Teammate Rahmond Hamilton added two passing touchdowns.

The Wildcats improved to 2-0 and will travel to Wilson at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Carvers Bay 20 Kingstree 0

KINGSTREE – Carvers Bay defeats Kingstree 20-0 on Friday night.

The Bears improved to 1-1 and will host Andrews at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

The Blazers fell to 0-2 and will travel to Crestwood at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Johnsonville 14 Atlantic Collegiate 7

CONWAY – Johnsonville defeated Atlantic Collegiate 14-7.

The Flashes improved to 1-1 and will travel to Georgetown next Friday.

The Kings Academy 58 Cross Schools 6

BLUFFTON– The King’s Academy improved to 2-0 with a 58-6 win over Cross Schools.

The Lions will host Holly Hill Academy at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Carolina Academy 41 Christian Academy 13

LAKE CITY – Carolina Academy improved to 2-0 with a 41-13 win over Christian Academy.

The Bobcats will travel to Dillon Christian at 7:30 p.m.

DARLINGTON – Trinity Collegiate lost a 20-0 contest to Ben Lippen on Friday.

The Titans fall to 0-2 and will host Pinewood Prep at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

CHARLESTON – Lee Central defeated Burke 19-6 on Friday.

The Stallions improved to 1-1 and will host Chesterfield at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

ST. STEPHENS – Lake City’s Amari Hanna passed for 200 yards and a touchdown and also rushed for a score.

Teammate Blayne Edwards had 105 yards receiving and a touchdown.

The Panthers improved to 1-1 and will travel to May River at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Lamar 58 Green Sea Floyds 14

LAMAR – Lamar’s Zori Pierce threw for three touchdowns and Zoom Jackson caught two touchdowns and rushed for another score.

Teammates Alvion Ward and Jaquez Dargan each had rushing touchdowns.

The Silver Foxes improved to 1-1 and will host Central at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Orangeburg-Wilkinson 56 Hemingway 0

ORANGBURG – Hemingway fell to Orangeburg-Wilkinson 56-0.

The Tigers fell to 0-2 and will host Scott’s Branch at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Hannah-Pamplico 32 Waccamaw 27

PAMPLICO – Hannah-Pamplico’s Wade Poston passed for 124 yards and three touchdowns and also rushed 117 yards and a score.

Teammate Jamarcus Williams rushed for 183 yards and a TD.

The Raiders improved to 2-0 and will travel to Lee Central on Sept. 13 at 7:30 p.m.

Laurence Manning 30 Heathwood Hall 28

MANNING – Laurence Manning defeated Heathwood Hall 30-28.

The Swampcats improved to 2-0 will travel to Northwood Academy at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

FLORENCE — Florence Christian’s Riley Minton passed for 161 yards and two touchdowns.

The Eagles improved to 2-0 and will travel to Heathwood Hall at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

MANNING – Manning’s Jeffery Ceasar returned an interception and a punt for touchdowns.

The Monarchs improved to 1-1 and will host Lake Marion at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
