Obituary of Josie Bell Holloman

Sumter – A memorial service for Josie Bell Holloman, 63, will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. 

Ms. Holloman passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2024.  Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late Frank Johnson and Marie Murphy Johnson.  She enjoyed watching westerns, sewing and working crossword puzzles. She was a loving mother and grandmother who cherished the time spent with her family.

Surviving are her son, J’von Knox of Camden; daughter, Jessica Knox of Sumter; sisters, Rosa Lee Betty Robertson, Nancy “Kat” Williams, Martha “Cookie” Belton, and Ruby Andrews; brother, Johnny Johnson; and grandchildren, Jeremiah Brown, Jada Knox, Xavier Knox, Kingston Knox and Skyaisa Knox.  She was predeceased by  brother, Frank Johnson Jr.; and sisters, Elizabeth “Tuttie” Woods and Phyllis Blanding.
