The Dreher High boys basketball team stayed unbeaten in region play and knocked off its rival in the process.

Austin Glasscho scored 17 points as the Blue Devils defeated AC Flora, 57-54. Dreher is now 4-0 in Region 3-4A heading into Friday’s matchup with South Pointe.

The win snapped a two-game losing streak to AC Flora.

Will Willard led the Falcons with 22 points. AC Flora missed a game-tying 3-pointer at the buzzer.

Tuesday’s Starting Five

Braysen Stockman, Ben Lippen: The junior had 32 points as the Falcons bounced back from Friday’s loss to Augusta Christian with a 73-63 win over Northside Christian.

Bryson Taylor, Dutch Fork: Senior had a career-high 30 points as Dutch Fork rallied in the fourth quarter to defeat White Knoll, 71-67.

Lauren Jacobs, Heathwood Hall: The Mississippi signee had 24 points as the Highlanders defeated Cardinal Newman, 74-27.

Jhnai Sumter, Lower Richland: Junior scored 23 points as Lower Richland moved to 14-1 with a 64-32 win over Lakewood.

Jernigan Williams, Lugoff-Elgin: Junior had 18 points as L-E knocked off No. 4 Westwood, 59-57, in one of the biggest surprises of the night.
