On January 16, 2025 The Purple Hill Little Free Library celebrated its opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The Purple Hill Little Free library is an outreach initiative of the Membership Care Services Ministry of the Oak Grove Baptist Church located in Elgin, SC. The Purple Hill Little Free library is open to the community.

We encourage you to check out our Library and get a book. The Library has a variety of books for ages pre-k through adult. The Library will host diverse reading activities and events throughout the year. The Purple Hill Free Little Library is located in front parking lot of Oak Grove Baptist Church. The address is 1063 Old Two Notch Rd. Elgin, SC 29045. The pastor is Rev. Dr. Willie Thompson, Jr.
