Obituary of William David Kemp

Lugoff – Funeral service for William David “Bill” Kemp, 86, will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethune Church of God  with burial to follow in Deliverance Tabernacle Cemetery, Camden.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.   

Mr. Kemp passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025.  Born in Union Town, Pa., he was the son of the late William E. Kemp and Grace Marie Fike Kemp.  He served in the United States Army and owned and operated Bill Country Kitchen.

Surviving are his children, Tammy Lytle (Bob), Confluence, PA and Sophie; brothers, Bruce Kemp (Bonnie) of Lugoff, SC, John Kemp of Camden, SC, Tim Kemp (Sandy) of Hartsville, SC; sister, Shirley Kemp Sullivan of McBee, SC; 4 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and nephew, Joe Phillips (Andria) of Lugoff, SC.
