Patrick Forrest Obituary

It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of our beloved brother, Patrick Fitzgerald Forrest, on March 8, 2025.  Born  June 30, 1969, Patrick was not only our beloved brother, but he was a protective solider of his family and confidant. Growing up, we shared countless adventures between South Carolina, New York and Oklahoma, building character and bonds that despite life challenges and disagreements, our love as family was strong and only a phone call away whenever needed.  

Patrick had an infectious laugh and a heart of gold.  He was always ready to lend a hand or share a story that would have you giving him a side eye at the extra ad libs, but that would have you bent over in laughter at the end. A natural gifted God giving talent as an artist, Patrick would draw exquisite portraits of family and friends that would challenge the works from some of the renowned great artist in galleries across the world.  

Patrick was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Forrest.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness and unforgettable memories. Patrick is survived by his  three children, Patrick Jackson of Dallas Tx, LaTeka White of North Carolina and Shavonna Phoenix Marshall of Columbia SC; a brother, Mark A. Forrest of New Jersey; a sister, Michelle M. Miles of Hinesville, GA; brother-in-law, Larry Miles of Hinesville, GA; grandparents, Joseph and Georgianna Seward of New York; uncles, Andre Seward and Freddie Forrest of North Carolina and New York; nephews/niece, SaQuan Anderson, Hubert Ray Anderson and Amoira Miles; six grandchildren and a host of friends and community that adored him.  His spirit will live on in our hearts forever.
