Funeral services for Mrs. Katie B. Hayes were to be held today at 4 p. m. in the Springvale Baptist Church, near Blaney, conducted by the Rev. J. A. Faile. Interment was to be in the churchyard.
Mrs. Hayes, 74, of 2014 Sumter St., died Saturday in the Baptist Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late William Branham and Mrs. Mary Cook Branham of Kershaw County.
Mrs. Hayes was a member of the Ebenezer Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Mink C. Hayes of Columbia, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Active pallbearers were to be Corbett Branham, L. C. Hendricks, Heyward Branham, Carlwell Branham, Leroy Branham and Blease Branham.
Honorary pallbearers were to be Henry Griffin, Holley Brazzel, J. K. Neese, George Blackwell, George Rabon, L. P. Branham and J. C. Rose.

Mrs. Katie B. Hayes, 74, of 2014 Sumter Street died at the Baptist Hospital Saturday night.
She was the daughter of the late William Branham and Mrs. Mary Cook Branham of Kershaw County.
Mrs. Hayes was a member of the Ebenezer Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband. Mink C. Hayes of Columbia, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Springvale Baptist Church near Blaney at 4 o’clock. Monday afternoon by the Rev. J. A. Faile. Interment will follow in the churchyard.
Active pallbearers will be Corbett Branham, L. C. Hendricks, Heyward Branham, Carlweli Branham, Leroy Branham and Blease Branham.
Honorary pallbearers will be Henry Griffin, Holley Brazzel, J. K. Neese, George Blackwell, George Rabon, L. P. Branham and J. C. Rose.
The active pallbearers will meet at the Talbert Funeral Home at 2:45 Monday afternoon.
Honorary pallbearers will meet at the church at 2:50 p.m.
