Obituary of Regina D. Burton

Camden – Funeral service for Regina Darnell Truesdale Burton, 60, will be held on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Quaker Cemetery.  The Rev. Burch Kelley will officiate.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. 

Mrs. Burton, wife of the late Zady Robin Burton, passed away at MUSC Charleston.  Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late Billy Ray Truesdale and Iris Vincent Coffman.  She retired from the Kershaw County School District and was a member of First Church of Nazarene in Camden.  She enjoyed fishing.  Mrs. Burton’s greatest joy in life was loving and caring for her grandson, Matthias. 

Left to cherish her memory was her son, Zady Robert Burton (Heather) of Camden; grandson, Matthias Burton; sister, Karen Brazell of Camden; nephew, Corey Brazell;  her best friend, Debra Galloway; and friend, Sandra Arledge.
