Obituary of Dora Smith Anderson

KERSHAW- A funeral service for Dora Smith Anderson, 79, will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at House of Prayer with Open Arms with burial to follow in Boonetown Cemetery. The Rev. Donnie Barrett will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. at the church.

Mrs. Anderson passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2025. Born in Cincinnati, OH, she was a daughter of the late Alice Strickland. Mrs. Anderson was a member of House of Prayer with Open Arms. She enjoyed watching TV with her pet dog, Mike, in her lap.

Surviving are her husband on 62 ½ years, Carol H. Anderson; son, Carol H. Anderson, Jr.; grandchildren, Allison Langley, Mikey Langley; and great-grandchildren, Winston and Madeline Stokes. She was predeceased by a daughter, Jenny Langley.
