Obituary of Daniel Thomas Singletary
Elgin – A service to celebrate the life of Daniel Thomas Singletary, 18, will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 14, 2025 from 5-7 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff.
Daniel passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025. Born in Columbia, he was the son of Johnny Clayton Singletary III and Naomi Singletary. He was a senior at S.C. Connections Academy. He attended church and The Village and Radiate. He was a Boy Scout and earned his Eagle Scout. Daniel enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and playing pickleball. In his down time he enjoyed video gaming.
Surviving are his parents, Johnny and Naomi of Elgin; brother, Braeden Singletary, sister, Catherine Singletary; paternal grandparents, Johnny Singletary, Jr and Bonnie Singletary of Elgin; aunt, Kristen Accardi of Elgin; and cousins, Emma, Madison and Oliver.
