A memorial service to remember and celebrate the lives of Micole Danielle Staton, 40, and her infant son, Russell James Wirt, Jr. will be held at 3pm on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mickey was born on March 27, 1985 in Logan, West Virginia.  She was the daughter of John Robinson and the late Deborah Rice Staton.  She enjoyed listening to music. Micole had a kind heart and a bubbly personality. She always tried to see the best in people. Micole loved her family, especially her daughter.

Surviving are her daughter, Naveah Jesup; father, John Robinson of Camden; brothers, Derek Robinson and John Robinson Jr.; sister, Courtney Carter; and step-brothers, Derek Pearson and Corey Pearson.

Russell James Wirt, Jr. was born on October 10, 2025 in Columbia S.C. and was the son of Russell James Wirt, Sr. and Micole Danielle Staton. He passed away at Prisma Health Richland on Monday, October 13, 2025.

He is survived by his father, James Russell Wirt, Sr.; sister, Neveah Jesup; grandfather, John Robinson; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
