LUGOFF- A graveside service to celebrate the life of Barbara Jean Anderson Raulerson, 87, will be held Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The Rev. Wade Roof will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 6, 2026 from 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mount Tabor Lutheran Church at 1000 B Ave, West Columbia SC 29169.
Mrs. Raulerson, wife of the late Hendrix “Whitey” Raulerson, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026. Born in Camden, she was a daughter of the late Everett and Grace Childers Anderson. Mrs. Raulerson was a member of Mount Tabor Lutheran Church, serving faithfully in the Ladies Aid Ministry. She enjoyed sewing, bowling, and spending time with family.
Surviving are her daughter, Gail Raulerson of Columbia; sons, Terry Raulerson of Seneca, Gene Raulerson (Anna) of Lugoff, Kevin Raulerson (Marina Bah) of Lugoff; brother, Mike Anderson (Kelly) of Columbia; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Jo Anderson. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by siblings, Everett “Butch” Anderson and Shirley Miles.
