ELGIN- Gregory Floyd, 62, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026. Born in Germany, he was a son of the late William Archie Floyd, Sr. and Thelma Cook Floyd. Gregory was an avid Clemson fan and enjoyed fishing and riding around with his dog, Copper. 

Surviving are his brother, William Archie “Bill” Floyd, Jr. (Nancy) of Fayetteville, N.C.; nephews, Billy Floyd III (Candace), Christopher Moline; nieces, Jerrica Floyd, Samantha Moline; and great-nieces and nephews, Waylon, Abagail, Josh, Lucas, Jaysen, Michael, Amina, Hamza, and Sumaiya. 

Services for Gregory will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Kidney Association or the American Cancer Society.
