Isaiah Moses Obituary

BISHOPVILLE- A celebration of life service for Isaiah Moses, 79, will be held Sunday, January 25, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Powers Funeral Home. The Rev. Sherome Henry will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Alcohols Anonymous or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Mr. Moses passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at his home. Born in Johnstown, PA, he was a son of the late Samuel B. Moses and Essie Boone Moses. Mr. Moses was a good man who didn’t waiver once he made up his mind, and did things his way. He enjoyed boxing.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Terry Moses of Camden; daughter, Denise Cook of Camden; grandchildren, Ayden Bellamy, Alanah Bellamy, Erica Adamson; brothers, James Moses, Samuel Moses; sister, Essie Mae Holmes; sisters-in-law, Jeanette Moses, Julia Moses; and several other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by brothers, Roosevelt Moses, Edward Lee Moses, Marvin Moses, Aaron Moses; sister, Rosetta Shaw; mother of his children, Lillie Mae Buie; sisters-in-law, Rosa Moses, Gertrude Moses, Roberta Moses; and brother-in-law, and Leroy Holmes
