ELGIN – Services for Bobby “Roosie” Branham, 61, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 18, 1998, at Blaney Baptist Church with burial in Old Macedonia Cemetery. The Rev. Lawrence Dennis will officiate. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel. Memorials may be made to Blaney Baptist Church Building Fund, 1400 Blaney Road, Elgin 29045.
Mr. Branham died Wednesday, July 15, 1998. Born in Elgin, he was a son of the late James W. Branham and Maude Sanders Branham. He was a retired owner of Branham Trucking. He was a member of Blaney Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley Chambers Branham; sons, Mark E. Branham and Clayton M. Branham, both of Elgin; daughters, Colette G. Kennedy of Monroe, Ga., Bobbie B. Brazell and Angela N. Branham, both of Elgin; and grandchildren, Clayton M. Branham, Lauren E. Branham and Lydia G. Branham, all of Elgin, and Derek R. Kennedy of Monroe, Ga.
