Lori Ann Shirley of Irmo and Charles James Frost Jr. of Lugoff were married July 21, 2007 at the Lexington Municipal Complex. The Rev. Jimmy Hanf performed the 6:30 p.m. ceremony. A reception followed.

The bride, daughter of Gary Shirley and Sharon Shirley of Columbia, is the granddaughter of Mary Carter and the late Al Carter and Emma Shirley, all of Louiseville, Ky. She is employed by the S. C. Commission on Indigent Defense.

The groom, son of Robert and Patsy Herlong of Douglasville, Ga., and Charles Frost of Lugoff, is the grandson of the late Charlie Frost and Irene Frost and the late James Hanf and Julia Hanf, all of Blaney. He is employed by NAI Avant.
