Blaney Baptist Church in Elgin will host the 1993 South Carolina Watermelon Queen at 7 p.m. Sunday. Stephanie Leonard of Charleston, the ’93 melon representative, will sing, and a social of hot dogs, tomato sandwiches and watermelons will be held following the service. The church is located at Church Street and White Pond Road.
