Mary Etta Medlin was born August 15, 1943 in Kershaw South Carolina, daughter of Hayward T. Medlin and Gaynell Sanders Medlin Lord.

Mary Etta Medlin, 12-days-old, died at the home yesterday afternoon, August 26, 1943 at 5:50, after having been ill two days.

Funeral Service will be conducted tomorrow morning, August 28, 1943 at 11 o’clock from the Spears Creek Baptist Church. The Rev. Mr. Johnson of Blaney will officiate. Interment will take place in the churchyard.

In addition to the parents, the baby is survived by a brother, Stanley T. Medlin; the maternal grandparents, Mrs. and Mrs. John L. Sanders (Etta Brazell Sanders) of Blaney, and the paternal grandmother, Mrs. Hattie Medlin of Columbia.
