Sam Carroll of Durham, N. C., won Saturday night’s drag racing action at Blaney Drag Strip by capturing the Pro Stock competition. Carroll clocked a 9.21 seconds E. T. at 148.76 m.p.h. in Steve Bagwell’s Plymouth Duster. Second Place went to Carlton Phillips of Vienna, Va., in a Camaro.
