The Blaney Drag Strip in Elgin will feature the “East Coast Funny Car Circuit,” with eight 180 mile-per-hour super-charged funny cars Saturday night.

Over 100 cars will be in the running for a share of the $4,000 purse. Time trials begin at 3:00 p.m. and racing gets underway at 7:30 p.m.
