ELGIN- A memorial mass for Michael Carl Petruzzi, 72, will be held Monday, August 24, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at St. John Neumann Catholic Church. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to St. John Neuman Catholic Church.

Michael passed away Thursday, August 20, 2020. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was a son of the late Michael Joseph Petruzzi and Muriel Mailloux. Mr. Petruzzi was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church. He enjoyed Tai Chi and golfing.

Surviving are his wife, Lynda Young; children, Russell Petruzzi, Gregg Petruzzi, Dan Petruzzi, Michelle Goddard, Mark Petruzzi; siblings, Loretta Crawford, Alice Sphneider, Muriel Erdman, Catherine Petruzzi, Peter Petruzzi; and 14 grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife, Wendy Petruzzi.
