On 75th Birthday

On Thursday, the children and grandchildren of Mr. J. W. Rose, entertained him at his home near Blaney with a delightful birthday dinner in honor of his seventy-fifth birthday. The table was bountifully spread with good things to eat, and in the center the snowy birthday cake was gleaming with 75 candles. After dinner the guest were invited into the living room where songs of olden times were played on the Victrola.

Mr. Rose received Several gifts and many good wishes from those present.
