A series of war-time revival meetings will be held at the Union Baptist Church, Blaney, beginning this Sunday at 8:30 p.m. This series will continue each night through September 19, except Saturday, at the same hour. The Rev. Raymond G. Johnson, pastor of Union church, will be the speaker and will bring messages which are heat-searching and Bible centered. He will be assisted by the Rev. Jacob Unru, song leader, of Lancaster, Pa. A tentative list of sermon topics is as follows; Sunday, “Blessed Assurance:” Monday, “God’s Last Word to the Church;” Tuesday, “Peace on Earth;” WEdnesday, “Unconditional Surrender;” Thursday, “The Light Which No Black Out Can Black Out;” Friday, “God’s Invitation to Sinners;” Sunday morning, “Victory In Christ;” and Sunday night, “The Sweetest Word I Know.”
