Elizabeth Corbett Nichols was born May 17, 1883 in Clarendon, South Carolina, a daughter of David Samuel Bowman Corbett and Jane Vick Corbett.

Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Nichols, 58, of 406 Taylor street, who died yesterday, September 8, 1941 at the Columbia hospital in Columbia, Richland County will be conducted this afternoon from the Riverside Baptist Church by the Rev. Paul Kok, pastor.

Mrs. Nichols had lived in Columbia for 25 years and was a member of the Riverside Baptist church. She had been ill for seven months.

She is survived by three sons, John B. Nichols and Eugene Nichols of Columbia and Hansel Rodgers, an adopted son of Mullins; a sister, Mrs. Betty Jeffords of Columbia, and six grandchildren.

The body will remain at the Thompson Funeral home unitl time for the service.

Interment will be in Union Baptist churchyard near Blaney.
