Sheriff T. Alex Heise yesterday requested that any person knowing the whereabouts of Mrs. Essie Dawkins, 66, of Blaney, communicate with the sheriff’s office.

Mrs. Dawkins, who has been missing from her home two miles north of Blaney since August 24, was described by relatives as being five feet, four inces tall, wighing 140 pounds, with blue eyes and gray hair.

Relatives said she left home at 7 a.m. August 24, planning to go by bus to Edgewood to visit a daughter. She has not been seen since.
