Logan Benjamin Heath Jr., 37, of 501 South Maple St., died early Friday morning, September 8, 1966, at his residence.
Mr. Heath was born in Blaney, son of the late Susanna Blackwood and Logan Benjamin Heath. He had been a resident of Columbia for the past year, and was a member of a Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the Korean War and was employed by Kline Iron and Steel Co.
Surviving are his widow, Doris Spell Heath; three daughters, Carol Heath, Donna Heath, and Lorrain Heath; two sons, Clavin Heath and Logan Heath, all of the home; mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Nick Bowen of Elgin; a half-sister, Mrs. Dorothy Gibbons, Wichita Falls, Texas, and three half brothers, Thomas W. Bowen, Edwards, California, Nick Bowen Jr., of Columbia and R. M. Bowen of Wichita Falls.
Funeral Arrangements will be announced by Dunbar Funeral Home, Gervais Street Chapel.
