BLANEY, S. C. (AP) – Ground breaking for a new plant of the Elgin National Watch Compnay here will take place next week.

The day has yet to be set, but it will be either Tuesday or Wednesday.

Grading is already in progress at the Kershaw County site of the plant that will have 70,000 square feet of floor space. Initial employment will be about 250 people.
