Theo Davis McLeod was born January 4, 1943 in Darlington County, South Carolina, the son of Dalton Lawrence McLeod, Jr., and Dessie Mae Davis McLeod.

ELGIN – Funeral services for Theo Davis McLeod, 28 who died Wednesday, September 1, 1971 will be today, September 3, 1971 at 4 p.m. in Blaney Baptist Church in Elgin.

Mr. McLeod died in Columbia Hospital as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident Wednesday, September 1, 1971 afternoon in Columbia.

Mr. McLeod was born in Darlington County, a son of Dalton Lawrence McLeod, Jr., and Dessie Mae Davis McLeod. He attended Clemson University and was an employe of DuPont.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Doris Kelly McLeod; a daughter, Kelly Marie McLeod of the home; his parents of Elgin; and two brothers, Robert Kenneth McLeod of Elgin and D. L. McLeod III of Atlanta.
