Ida Motley

ELGIN – A graveside service for Ida Lee Motley, 66, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2002 in Sandhill Heights Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Charles Miller and the Rev. Roger Snipes will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6-8 tonight, September 17, 2002 at Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel. Memorials may be made to Sandhill Heights Baptist Church, 2992 Bowen Street, Elgin, SC 29045.

Mrs. Motley died Sunday, September 15, 2002. Born in Blaney, she was a daughter of the late Eddie Ernest Ross and Mildren Goff Ross. She was a secretary for 17 years with the Clemson Livestock Laboratory and a member of Sandhill Heights Baptist Church where she was a former Sunday School teacher.

Surviving are her husband, Orland L. Motley; daughters, Teri Motley Pruitt, Jeni L. Motley and Cathy Gore, all of Elgin; grandson, Warren Ross Pruitt of Elgin; sister, Carolyn Ross Fortner of Elgin; brother, Paul E. Ross of Elgin.
