ELGIN – Nancy Lotz Worsham, 65, stepped into glory on September 11, 2016 after a long battle with multiple sclerosis. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Dunbar Funeral Home, Northeast Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service.
Nancy was born in Roanoke, VA to the late Frances C. Lotz and William J. Lotz. After graduating from Cave Spring High School, she attended Hollins College completing a degree in Sociology in 1973. Nancy trained and showed American Saddlebred horses. While teaching horseback riding Nancy worked with learning disabled children in a therapy program at her stable.
She is survived by her husband, Douglas M. Worsham; son, Sam Watts and wife Meredith and their two sons; William and Mason; brother, Bill Lotz and wife Condit; sister, Sara L. Powell and husband Bill and their daughters, son-in-law, granddaughters; stepchildren; Leslie Glade and husband Paul, Tracie Vasquez, Ronnie Worsham and three step grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Blaney Baptist Church, PO Box 305, Elgin, SC 29045.
