ELGIN – A graveside service for David Joel Richardson, 76, will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in The Original Fox Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Mark Sanders will officiate.

Mr. Richardson, husband of the late Pauline Richardson, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2020. Born in Columbia, he was a son of the late Allen Richardson and Nezzie Richardson. Mr. Richardson enjoyed hunting, fishing and racing his Ford Mustang.

Surviving are his daughter, Donna Lippard of Elgin; granddaughter, Rachel Doughty; great-grandchildren, Mark and Charlotte; and siblings, Faye Miles of Gastonia, N.C., Heyward Richardson of Lugoff, and Shirley Richardson of Elgin.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Paula Lynn Richardson, 5 brothers and 4 sisters.
