Has Good Word to Say for Kershaw County Exhibition.

“The Kershaw county fair was one of the best I have ever seen and was very pleasantly surprised at the size to which it has grown in the few years of its existence,” said Governor Richards last night upon his return from a visit to the fair at Camden.

“The booths were exceptionlly fine,” said the governor, “and would be credit to any state fair. the exhibits from Blaney and Lugoff were unusually good. Although the cattle exhibits were not so large as those at the State fair, the exhibits of hogs were splendid.

“I spent a very enjoyable day and enjoyed a delightful luncheon at the hotel in company with the mayor and the president of the Kershaw County Fair association,” he concluded.
