43 Churches Send Delegates Here To Baptist Session

Delegates from 43 churches of the Fairfield Baptist association training union held a quarterly meeting last night at Crescent Hill Baptist church, Two Notch road.

W. B. Jones, associational director, was in charge of the meeting which was opened by singing and prayer by the Rev. J. H. Reed of Cayce.

Separate conferences were held by the various leaders of the union in charge of the following: presidents, Johnnie Kirby of Park Street Baptist church; junior leaders, Mrs. J. F. Nolan of Shandon Baptist church; vice president, Clay Williamson of Park Street church; Intermediates, Miss Kathryn Sheren of Eau Claire church; Bible readers leaders, Miss Jewel Eddings o Park Street church, pastors, secretaries, directors and choristers, the Rev. L. G. Payne of Eau Claire, who is also pastor-advisor of the training union work.

Pastor present included the Rev. Harry E. Alban of Crescent Hill church; the Rev. B. F. Carson of Blaney; the Rev. H. E. King of Good Hope; the Rev, J. J. Reed of Cayce; the Rev. A. L. Sanders of Colonial Heights; the Rev. L. G. Payne of Eau Claire; and the Rev. Leslie Edward of Sandy Level.
