ELGIN – Funeral service with full military honors for Sgt. 1st Class Timothy Ivan “Tim” Moulton, U.S. Army (Ret.), 60, will be held Monday, November 15, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. at Blaney Baptist Church with burial to follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The Rev. Lawrence Dennis and the Rev. Philip Blankenship will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Sgt. 1st Class Moulton died Wednesday, November 10, 2010. Born in Belfast, Maine, he was a son of the late Frank Moulton and Gertrude Dunbar Moulton. He retired from the United States Army and served in Vietnam. He was an investigator with the South Carolina Department of Labor. He was a member of Blaney Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and enjoyed carpentry, gardening and R.V. camping.
Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Pamla Gale Hinson Moulton; daughter, Brandee Dawn Moulton (Steven O. Wilson) of Elgin; grandson, David James Jackson; brothers, Bradford Moulton and Dawson Moulton (Susan); and sisters, Rose Perkins and Linda Malloch (George).
He was predeceased by brothers, Richard Moulton, Roger Moulton, Robert Moulton, Frank Moulton, Jr. and Winfield Moulton; and sister, Rebecca Pendleton.
