All family members were born in South Carolina. Andrew Branham was a carpenter at the cotton mill and Inez Branham was a spinner at the cotton mill.

According to the United States Census reported on April 2, 1940, Andrew Branhan (48), rented a home in Hyatt Park, Richland County, South Carolina with his wife, Lila Branhan (44) and their children; Murdice Branhan (19), Albert Branhan (16), Andrew Branhan (13), Letha May Branhan (11), Betty Jane Branhan (6), Johnny Mack Branhan (2). All family members were born in South Carolina and lived in a rural part of Kershaw County on April 1, 1935. Andrew Branhan was a carpenter at the cotton textile mill and Murdice Branhan was a carpenter at building court N. Y. A.

LUGOFF – Graveside funeral services for USMC (Ret.) GYSGT Jack Albert Branham, 80, will be held on Monday, December 6, 2004 at 4:00 PM in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Doug Whitfield will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 6, 2004, from 2-3:00 PM at Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Kershaw County Medical Center, P.O. Box 7003, Camden, SC 29020.
Mr. Branham died Friday, December 3, 2004. Born in Blaney, SC, he was the son of Andrew David Branham and Lila Bowen Branham. He was retired from the U.S. Marine Corps, having served in WWII, the Korean & Vietnam Wars.
Surviving are his sisters and brothers, Inez Taylor of Camden, Walter L. Branham and his wife, Dorothy, of Elgin, Clarence Branham and his wife, Clarice, of Lugoff, Alether Gleaton of Lugoff, Betty Medlin and her husband, Oliver, of Lugoff; numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister, Mattie Osborne and a brother, Murdic M. Branham.
