Miss Daisy Lee Walker of Congaree is the weekend guest of her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. V. Z. Burke, on Hampton Street.

Mrs. Lee Kempson is at home from Raleigh, where she has been visiting her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Whitfield Fowler, for the past two weeks.

Mrs. J. J. Younginer has returned to her home at Woodford after a stay of several days with her niece, Mrs. W. H. Tiller, on Gervais Street.

Dr. and Mrs. D. H. Mooney had as their guest during the past week, Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Adams of North, parents of Mrs. Mooney, and Miss Ruby Mundy and Jed Calhoun of Raleigh. The latter two motor down to a stay of several days with her cousin, Miss Marjorie Mooney.

W. P. Ouzts is in Greenwood, where he is spending a few days with his sister, Mrs Sam Mays and other relatives.

Miss Carrie Peele and brother, Jack Peele, have returned from Goldsboro, North Carolina where they were the guest of their grandmother, Mrs. J. H. Hines, who returned home with them for a visit of several weeks to Mr. and Mrs. Jack Peele, Sr., At 815 Oak Street.

The Rev. O. A. Abney and Mrs. Abney motored to St. Matthews Thursday, where they were guest of Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Inabinet.

Charlie Fleming of Spartanburg was the guest of his aunt, Mrs. C. C. Fleming, for a short stay last week.

Mrs. G. R. Bush of Hopkins is spending a few days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Henson, on Laurel street.

Mr. and Mrs. Leland Kempson and children are at home from Salina, where they visited Mrs. Ike Trotter and other relatives for several days.

The Reverend L. T. Phillips and Mrs. Phillips are expected tomorrow from Cottageville to be the guest of Mrs. A. O. Abney at the parsonage on Oak street.

Miss Evelyn McNeil of the Blaney school faculty is spending the weekend with her mother, Mrs. Charlie McNeil on Laurel Street.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Tiller and two children, with Miss Inez Livingston of Woodford, where the guest of Mrs. W. H. Taylor last week at her home on Gervais Street.

Mrs. Alice Williams of Union is spending the remainder of the winter with her son and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Williams, on Myrtle Street.
