Funeral services for Sally Jo Nelson, 77, of Lugoff, will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Hillcrest Baptist Church, in Elgin, SC. Reverend Kenneth Jackson and Reverend Gene Stokes will officiate. Visitation will be 1 hour earlier at 3:00 PM at Hillcrest Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Baptist Church Cemetery.

Sally died Monday, March 1, 2021. Born in Elgin, she was the daughter of the late William Kershaw Nelson and Sarah Farmer Kirven Nelson. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and attended Emmanuel Baptist Church. Sally enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Juanita Ross for her help and care through the years.

Sally is survived by her sister, Norma Collins, and brothers, Charlie and Larry Nelson, all of Lugoff.

She was predeceased by her brother, Pete Nelson.
