A memorial service to celebrate the life of Emily Moore McManus, 82, of Rembert, SC, will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Pisgah Baptist Church at Pisgah cross roads with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Russ McDonald will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel. Memorials may be made to Pisgah Baptist Church, 8620 Black River Road, Rembert, SC 29128.

Emily passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021. She was born in Camden August 26, 1938 to Silas “Sye” and Mamie Moore.She was a volunteer at K.C.M. Hospital for years and she loved to make cards. She was a member of Pisgah Baptist Church.

Emily is survived by her sons, Marion Wayne McManus (Terri); John Anthony “Andy” McManus (Mary); her grandchildren, Cati and Cory Heglar, of Travelers Rest, Johnathan and Amanda McManus, of Fort Mill, Joshua and Katie McManus of Rembert, Christopher McManus of Rembert, and Ashley Deason of Rembert; sister, Phyllis Moore Greenway; and great-granddaughters, Charlotte Heglar and Olivia McManus.

Emily was predeceased by her husband, John “Johnny” Marion McManus; a son, Robert Michael McManus; brother, Tony Moore; infant sister, Sylvia Moore; and niece, Olivia Deason.
