December 16, 1955 ~ July 6, 2021 (age 65)

Mr. Joseph Anthony Wood was born December 16, 1955, in Lugoff, South Carolina, to the late James Wood and Lizzie Wood. He entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 6, 2021.

Joseph was educated in the Kershaw County Public School System and was a graduate of Lugoff Elgin High School. He was a hard worker who dedicated many years working for the City of Columbia. He later moved to Killeen,Texas to live with his twin brother and start a new life. Recently Joseph relocated back to South Carolina and spent his last days enjoying a peaceful life. 

He was preceded in death by his father James Wood; his mother, Lizzie Wood; his siblings, Martha Murphy, Willie Mae Murphy, Johnny Wood, Mary Johnson, and Ralph Wood. 

Joseph leaves to cherish his loving memory three sisters, Ella Mae Wood, Patricia Wood and Priscilla Wood; one brother, James Wood along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
